May–June and September–October are the best times: warm temperatures (18–27°C), low rainfall, green landscapes, and manageable tourist crowds. July–August is peak beach season but busier and hotter. March–April and November offer great value.
When is Romania cheapest to visit?
November, February, and March offer the lowest prices for flights and accommodation. These shoulder or off-season months see far fewer tourists and significantly reduced hotel rates — ideal for budget-conscious travellers.
Should I visit Romania in summer or autumn?
